All AVR's provided by PJ POWERS have Under Frequency Roll Off (UFRO) protection, which reduces the generator output voltage proportional to speed below a preset frequency to prevent over-excitation. This feature is also useful for assisting turbo charged engines to recover upon application of a large block load. Hand trimmer connection for fine adjustment of generator voltage is also standard on these AVR's.
